Burn bans
Eight 936-area counties are under a burn ban: Nacogdoches, Walker, Trinity, Houston, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby and Madison.
Roads
Two full closures in the 936 area:
- San Augustine County: FM 354 north of SH 21 is closed through Sept. 28. Follow the marked detour.
- Jasper County: FM 3131 east of FM 1593 is closed for construction; main lanes closed, follow the marked detour.
Ongoing construction lane closures on US 59 in Polk, Nacogdoches, Angelina and Jasper counties; US 69 in Angelina County; US 287 in Tyler County; SH 156 bridge work in San Jacinto County; and IH 45 frontage road work in Walker County. No DriveTexas flooding closures reported.
