Three Trinity County missing brothers were found safe Sunday afternoon after a weekend search that started when they were last seen walking along Highway 94 near Apple Springs on Friday evening.
The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office located the boys around 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Community members had reported seeing the three brothers walking toward the Lufkin area between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, according to KTRE.
Family members had told authorities they believed the boys may have traveled toward Lufkin. No injuries were reported by responding deputies.
