The second East Texas Conservation Expo returns to Polk County on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Admission is free for the whole family. Attendees can explore hands-on educational programs, workshops, product displays, and demonstrations from agricultural, timber, water resource, and recreation producers. Featured topics include forestry, pond and wildlife management, invasive species, pollinator protection, bird watching, boating safety, and hunter education. A TPWD Hunter Education Course is available on-site for $15. Presented by the Piney Wood Lakes Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist alongside Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, the Polk County Chamber of Commerce, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
