Lost a pet, or found one wandering? Fill out the form below and your report
posts to the 936 Insider Lost & Found Pets board, free. Neighbors across Polk,
Trinity, San Jacinto, Walker, Angelina, Nacogdoches, and Montgomery counties can see it right away.

What to include:

  • Where the pet was last seen (street or nearest intersection)
  • Date and time
  • Breed, color, size, collar or tags
  • A clear photo
  • The best way to reach you

Found a pet? Post it here too. Do not remove tags or a collar, and check with
a local vet for a microchip scan.

Photo tips that actually help find a pet

  • Use a recent photo. A puppy picture will not help if your dog is eight years old.
  • One clear full-body shot, and one close-up of the face.
  • Show what makes this animal identifiable: markings, spots, scars, collar, tag.
  • Shoot in daylight, no flash. Skip filters, because filters change coat color and coat color is how people recognize a pet.
  • No watermarks from other sites.
  • JPG or PNG only, up to 2 photos, 5 MB each. If an iPhone photo will not upload, open Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and pick Most Compatible. Emailing the photo to yourself also works.
